AI in Neonatal Care
Listen now
Description
The neonatal period is the first 28 days of life, which is the stage of developing physiological adaptations for extra-uterine life. This time is a vulnerable period and the high neonatal mortality rate is due to the high level of vulnerability in this period. About two-thirds of infant deaths and about half of the under-five deaths occur in neonatal period. Predictions show that between 2019 and 2030, approximately 52 million children under the age of 5 will die, approximately half of whom will be neonate. To combat this problem, some really fantastic startups have come into the market with their cutting-edge technologies and solutions and we've invited the CEO of one of the notable startups in this domain, Dr. Harpreet Singh. Let's learn from him how AI is being used to save children lives in the neonatal care.
