In our first ever bonus episode, we talk with Chief Eagle Elk of the Woccon Skarure/Cape Fear Band about carving your identity, the definition of culture, and having dual citizenship within the United States. Lovell Pierce Jr., aka Eagle Elk, is the Principal Chief for the Cape Fear Band of Skarure (Tuscarora) & Woccon Indian People also contemporarily known as Cape Fear Indians. He was given my name by Tuscarora Elder and Seer, Ted SilverHand. Toni RuizRazo Tsolagiu White Wolf, a Cherokee Elder, and Seer. Before her passing, she taught him about his clan which is Bear, and my Elder Eel Clan cousin who's also the pipe carrier for Tuscarora people taught him some of his clan responsibilities and ceremony. Eagle Elk is an author, Massage Therapy Practitioner, 5th degree Black Belt, Fitness Trainer, Radio Host, Actor, Language Activist, and he continues to evolve. Eagle Elk is also currently in Law Enforcement and enjoys spending time with his 3 grandbabies.   We create Bonus material that discussion topics, ideas, and resources that can correlate and/or affect the Expat experience.
