Cub Scout Drop-out Bill Sharpsteen became enamored with outdoor exploration on a high school backpacking trip. His inquisitive sensibilities and desire for adventure lead him to a career as a journalist, photographer, and documentary producer. His latest project is the YouTube channel Mr. Hall’s Trail Guide, a video resource to numerous hiking trails around the world.
