variety of perspectives
This podcast interviews people who relate to the outdoors in different ways. Most are interested in immersing themselves in the outdoors through different kinds of activities. I found there are two kinds of people (and all different variations in between). Those that relate on a viscral level and those that relate on an accomplishment level. Though the podcast tilts towards the latter -- they are obviously the most visible -- it does not ignore the former. The podcast on the dancer was one that his the former pretty squarely. All of this is a long way of saying I am always surprised and entertained by the interviewees and it provides motivation to get out there once again.

When I first started listening, I thought it was kind of hokey but there were some really awesome, practical and relatable adventure stories. I don't know how Jason finds these people, I mean Scott Swaney? That guy is easily in the running for most interesting man alive.
