Finally an Italian football podcast!
Tutto in questo podcast è perfetto. Io sono una Juventina (si, io sono una donna) e preferisco la Serie A, naturalmente. It’s refreshingly different in that it doesn’t just focus on matches, transfers, tactics, general current football discussion. But also gives a history lesson into past heroes & stories of Serie A and Italian football. AC Jimbo & James are wonderful as always. Only problem out of all other Italian journalists did it really have to be Marcotti? he’s like the Ancelotti of Journalists: Gets around, well known, on paper looks great - but in reality lazy, very miserable in his approach to discussing teams, barely puts any effort in constructive criticism & always arrogant by inputting clubs in other leagues (EPL) down even when it holds no relevance. His format never changes, like Ancelotti. And I’ve heard him on other podcasts over the years, too. Brightside is Horncastle & Richardson talk most & act as a fun, constructive and intelligent buffers to counteract Marcotti, grazie dio.

Really good to have an Italian football show back to hear about the Italian game in the present and relive the glory days, would love to hear more about the Lazio Scudetto winning team of 1999 - 2000 and the year after, my all time favourite squad.

The Football Italia music itself is worthy of a 5 star review. Football Italia really broadened my horizons as a child and young adult and I’m really enjoying this podcast. Great content from Jimbo, Horncastle and Marcotti!
