It's our 80th episode. We can sit on the mothers' pew at church now. But instead of giving out old, crusty and half melted pieces of strawberry candies, we got some good podcasting for y'all. DaBaby dropped his album, 69 probably ratted us out by the time this drops and Fantasia did Fantasia stuff. Let's pray that justice is served for Botham Jean and RIP to Andre Emmett.

Some very good dialogue from the REVOLT Summit led to some good podcasting in Oak Cliff, TX. We shared our thoughts and opinions on some of the topics from that vivid panel discussion. Next we got into Kanye’s album announcement and how we feel about it. Is it a cult or nah? Not to be outdone, Meg sealed her hot girl summer with a big boss move so we stanned a young queen real quick. Fellas, face it they won. And lastly we discuss how life’s a trip but Lyfe’s just trippin. Freaky ass boy. I...

After a few quiet weeks in the culture, the gang pulled up in strong fashion to discuss some b******t that hit very close to the homefront. While it was bigotry that brought us to the studio cave this week, we got in our bag on some more pressing issues. Your childhood may or may not be threatened, your favorite R&B artist from north of border decided to “bridge the gap” and your favorite rapper from the Carolina’s just got a makeover, let him live!

The culture has been lowkey too quiet lately but we had some s**t to talk. Syd was fresh off St. Patrick’s festivities. This episode is the result of those two facts.

In our 65th episode, we recap the Grammys and review the winners, snubs and flat out misses. We also discuss the week in culture from TI dissing Floyd to Nicki dismissing BET. We try our damnedest to understand Savage the 21st’s legal troubles and weigh in with our opinions. White people are still cuttin’ up so our issues with Liam and Gucci get…taken…to wax. But not all hope is lost, Nicki rapped real bars, black banks step into the spotlight and black girls are creating dope art. Full disclosure this was recorded pre-Grammys.

We cover a myriad of topics from stand up comedy to surprisingly good rap beefs. White folks gone white folks so we address some disturbing b******t that didn’t have to be. But us gone us as well so we also discuss another cultural candidate and what that means moving forward. Kam also got his shots up lol.

We had a busy week in the culture loaded with music from some artists you already know and some you should get to know. We’re on bitchassness alert in LA and when you’re only 20, you can potentially ruin someone’s life all because you got drunk. But b******t to the side, we try to gain some understanding of our potential Presidential candidate and how she may have a chance to affect positive change alongside Hov and Meek.

So it turns out that there was some leftover trash from a particular R&B singer and new trash from some people connected to him. We even have to revisit the covering/lid war of 2018 because…..trash there too. We then reach the trash debatable portion of the episode which will probably resurface at some point. Not all things culture were negative this week, though, thus the name of this episode.
