“I absolutely loved the book and was so excited when learning they turned this into an adapted podcast. However, the adaptation sadly fell short of my expectations. I couldn’t get past the acting and accents. Both were overly dramatic, insincere, and too distracting from the plot. I liked the way they broke up the story and focused only on the Madeline chapter, I just hope they fix some of the acting elements when making the other chapters. It’s giving community theatre.”
