Queen early years
I don’t believe I have heard so much rubbish spoken in one hour than I did listening to the first hour of this. From watching Queen support Mott the Hoople And following them around the uk in the early years, it became clear to me that following the heights of albums up to and including Night At The Opera, Queens studio work became lazy. After that the amount of great songs on each album dropped to two maybe three. I think the life style ruined the band, I think Brian and John were the only two who cared about the quality of the music. I am one of Queens biggest fans, I was invited to the filming of we are the champions because I was one of the first 500 in the fan club. I slept rough in Edinburgh for two nights when they played there in 76. I was at the very front of the Hyde park crowd as I’d spent the night before in the park sleeping rough. I have so much Queen signed memorabilia I don’t know what to do with it. I am fully qualified to give this opinion because I did the time. After 1975 Queen were a brilliant live band but musically empty.

There’s little missteps with info or history sometimes, but nothing huge. Still always a good...Read full review »

Found them through Nine inch nails episode and they really stayed at the surface level. Only spoke about early hits and totally glossed over the fragile which is arguably one of the best NIN records
