“I am so glad that I found this podcast. I listen to it daily, and I when I listen to all the episodes I will likely go back and listen again. It is written and produced really well, and the stories behind the writing, recording, and evolution of Grateful Dead songs through their live performances are presented in captivating narratives. The slogan of the podcast is “for the committed and the curious,” which is a spot-on description. No matter whether you have hundreds of Dead shows under your belt or you are just vaguely familiar with their music but want to learn more, this podcast is for you.”

“I usually get annoyed with music documentaries that don’t play the songs completely. This was different. There was a seamlessness to the song excerpts that allowed for a natural flow into the commentary. I definitely learned a couple of nuggets of lore.”
