Sometimes amazing often irritating
A lot of the guests are inspirational but unfortunately I find the presenter a bit gushing and laughing too much, laughing in podcasts is always very irritating and doesn’t come across- the presenter also talks too much and says ‘it’s funny’ so many times. And why call it a club? All humans from birth are confronted with death by default. I haven’t lost my parents or a child but I have lost many people along the way and loss is universal. The pseudo psychology is also quite tiring. The more interesting episodes are where the guests aren’t obviously of the more privileged parts of society - the Rev Richard Cole episode is particularly excruciating- the presenter doesn’t shut up

More reviews of Griefcast
It’s so rare to hear anyone talk properly about death and grief, I think this podcast makes grief normal and brings it into everyday life, which is how it should be. Never too heavy that you can’t handle it but always bitter and sweet. Great production.

I’m so glad that this podcast exists. I wish I’d known about it earlier! When my mum died 2 years ago, I was desperate to find out more about how people grieve so that I could make sense of my own process. The humour is a great vehicle to explore grief without getting too heavy.

This is important listening. Having lost my Dad four months ago, it was immensely comforting to hear such relatable experiences. Thank you for this human, gentle and honest podcast.
