“First off, I love the podcast. You’ve helped me get even more into disc golf and I love that.
That being said, I have any interesting make that call for y’all. I know you read these so I figured this is my best chance and getting your thoughts.
In my first tournament, we had something interesting happen. It was during the final round on the lead card (MA1) so stakes were kind of high. A guy on the card threw a shot on an island hole that was borderline in or out. The out of bounds line was defined by a string that was wrapped around flags. However, the string had fallen off the flag causing it to move in, towards the pin, like an inch. In the current position, the disc was out of bounds. With the string put back on the flag, it was in bounds by the tiniest amount of the disc. We gave him in bounds, but it caused the hole to be a two stroke swing in his favor against the rest of the card.”
