In the middle of my journey
Hi Kate, I had a dog who lived with me for about 13 years and her death was so devastating for me. Over her body I promised to her I would not eat no animals from that moment forward and I kept my promise for 10 years. When the pandemic hit I was really prepelexed how a respiratory virus could have such an impact to some and why some of us are so vulnerable and some not. I thought with myself this difference must have a very clear and obvious underlying reason. Parallel to this line of thinking I was researching blood clots and heart attacks for some personal reason and I stumbled on a podcast that turned my world upside down. Everything I thought I knew was challenged from the moment I knew Ancel Keys and his seven countries study is absolutely garbage. And my journey began from there. When I heard your episode in Death in the garden and your viewpoint about cyclicality of life and death, I felt you are in peace with this matter. Your deep knowledge and calmness really got to me and I started listening to all of The Groundwork, although still can not comprehend how you are able to kill an animal. Episodes I really enjoyed and learned from: A curious journey to the mineral matrix with Hamid Jabbar Reciprocal living with Shele Jessie Carnivore-ish with Beth Lipton

The questions are well thought out and require the guest to offer more of themselves...Read full review »
