You’ve got the 1970’s one that couldn’t cope with an angry Grandma kicking off, but had shark repellant, the Michael Keaton one that was wrong, but not as wrong as Val Kilmer and then Christian Bale, who was made to talk to you in a voice that reminded me of my Platoon Sergeant in basic training. In this podcast Jocko and Echo also display that they are multifaceted, it’s not just discipline discipline discipline, it’s also discipline in murder pyjamas and other people taking about that discipline and lessons in life. I read somewhere that BJJ is the love child of Murder and Yoga. It’s essentially folding clothes with people in them. I was inspired to take up BJJ by the message at the end of each Jocko Podcast and was surprised to discover myself tapping out to a 16yr old girl in my first lesson. I was surprised as she didn’t look 16. In short if you’ve got this far in my review then you will recognise both the potential hypoxia due to being choked by someone half my body weight and the clear concise message I’m not selling. Listen to it. It will change your life. And possibly lead to being choked out. But Mölk cures Spanish flu, so it evens out.”
