Immensely Satisfying
When post-apocalyptic science fiction is done well, it can’t be beat. This story drew me in from the first few minutes. This is proof positive that one does not need a big multi-cast production with a huge budget and sophisticated sound design to have a captivating story. All one needs is an incredibly gifted writer and a superb voice actor who has mastered their craft. There is fantastic character development where you start feeling for these characters which is not easy to do with one actor. Episode 7 had me squirming in my seat….so intense! Stayed up for hours going over the scenes in my head. The breaks between the voice actor’s monologues were very effective in adding even more depth to the story. It has a great story arc. The ending gave me the same sense of hope and trepidation that I got after seeing the first Terminator movie. Overall, very well done!

There are many ways I could describe this wonderful narrative podcast, but I’ll just say that this is, quite simply, badassery.

Wonderful bingable mix of real characters caught in horrifying future trying to solve a mystery and save the world. It is basically an audiobook but i found that made it feel more intense and personal than adding a bunch or actors and sound effects.
