“I’m very interested in group think, “empowerment” and self help workshops, and cults so I was excited to listen to this. It was pretty good, but honestly could have been 3, maybe 4 episodes. Very stretched out for no reason.
I also feel like people need to be held accountable for how they found themselves in such a position. Yeah, this guy seemed like a con man for certain, but he’s not 100% to blame. He didn’t chain those people up in a smoke lodge. They chose to ignore their bodies because they felt what he had to say was more important. It’s sad they died, but I can’t get behind saying he was the sole cause.”
