“So many podcasts are boring and meandering but these two stay on task which is super important to me. I’m a busy mother of three who doesn’t have time to waste listening to chit chat. They get to the point and go deeper than your typical nutrition podcast but also add in enough humor to make it fun.
I also love that the Roneys aren’t afraid to check each other or themselves. Some health gurus act like they know it all but often one of them will say, “I just made that up but it’s true to our experience” or “well we could argue the addictiveness of salt” or whatever. I really appreciate that they don’t villainize any one fad diet but honestly lay out the benefits and pitfalls of each even admitting that many of those diets have their place short term to achieve certain outcomes. I love that Juanique and Tristan don’t always agree on everything because we get multiple perspectives and are left to think and decide for ourselves. Thank you for being down to earth and willing to say there is yet more to learn.”
