The speakers discuss the optimal management of commonly encountered toxicities, such as hypertension and hypothyroidism, that are associated with several of the TKIs. They also highlight management strategies, patient reference materials and anticipatory prescriptions for antihypertensives, antidiarrheals, and antiemetics. The podcast includes two patient cases that delve into information about the differences in toxicities between lenvatinib and pazopanib, hypertension and which drugs to use in which order (both starting dose and dose adjustments), and medical access and lab intervals. These practical clinical pearls in managing toxicities aim to guide practitioners on how best to use these drugs to treat gynecologic cancers.
