Amateur radio and radio adjacent topics
I’m a new general, for me, this show is great. The strength is the breadth; I feel like I won’t become an expert from listening to the show, but I feel confident that I’m going to hear all the words at least once and be able to look into them later. This is the kind of show that you can just put on in the background and absorb the conversation. There are moments where it gets technical and you may want to listen to parts again or look something up, but mostly, it’s background chitchat for me until I “tune-in” to something interesting to me at the moment. I really like that they include radio adjacent themes like basic preparedness, community involvement, off-grid/self-sufficiency, and other topics.
