“Imagine you have a son you love with all your heart, 17 years old, loves to listen to the podcast because he LOVES trucks, and his great uncles are truck drivers. My son has Down syndrome, & has been bullied all his life.. I’ve defended him with everything I have. Imagine him listening to the latest episode where the terms “retards” and “window lickers” and how thankful they were to not have to ride the short bus. My son has ridden those busses and has loved all his bus drivers. They kept him safe in a vehicle specifically designed for the accommodation and safety of special needs children. The guest, and hosts (even Brian Tony’s dad laughed) joked about special needs children. I wonder if God takes kindly to that. If you want to focus on how excellent those short bus drivers for children who were born different and need the extra help, please do, seeing as tho this is a podcast that’s supposedly focused on drivers and their stories. Normally, I love you guys. But how off putting and ignorant are you guys sometimes.. My son had tears in his eyes when he heard you guys poking fun like that. He looked up to you. You may have lost two fans today..”
