So dull…
Ian Stone has gleefully jumped at the chance to promote gambling in exchange for his own podcast. It’s a painfully dull listen; elongated by Stoney laughing at his own unfunny jokes or mistakenly at things said by others that weren’t meant to be funny; basically laughing in an exaggerated manner at anything in an attempt to inject life into the deflated red and white balloon that is this podcast. There’s a token gesture at analysis (just surface-level rehashing of better points made elsewhere) that punctuates the endless reminiscing of better times. It’s rushed, and the content of the show feels like a place-holder for the adverts. In the latest episode, Stone was reading suggestions for songs; not only is this segment stolen from the Tuesday Club, the suggestions themselves had already been read out on the Tuesday Club at the start of the season! Zzzzzzzzzzzz I could listen to James and Amy talk to each other all day though, so one star each for them. Harsh? Probably. Use it as motivation.

As enjoyable as an eating competition with Steve Bould.

Two of the best in the biz in Amy and James, but Lee makes it difficult to listen to. He’s purely there cause he’s an arsenal legend but doesn’t offer/add anything to the analysis whatsoever.
