ALL ROADS LEAD TO ROME SPECIAL  Late last year, I spoke to Ian Barr & Rob Boyns, the Captains of the Dodd1e'5 Gr4nd S7am Team. They had the mad idea of cycling from Murrayfield to Rome for the Scotland v Italy 6N match. If that wasn't daft enough, it will visit Dublin, Cardiff, London, Paris, Monaco & Pisa on the way. 2 days after recording, they called and asked if I wanted to join... We're now 2 weeks away from departure, the team has visited Carrongrange school and Edinburgh University to engage with groups supporting our effort. Prof Tom Gillingwater is an important member of the MND community working at the Euan Macdonald MND ResearchCentre, trying every day to make progress towards finding treatments and, eventually, a cure. It was inspiring to listen to him, and I will think of his words in the darker moments on the trip.
