They got what they deserved
It’s a shame because so many of us…millions I would say, were so genuinely excited about this couple in the beginning. Anyone trying to justify Meghan’s claims of racism in the media after a reporter was clearly giving her a compliment about her looks is really quite pathetic. This couple have made themselves totally irrelevant. The one thing that gave them both power and a continued (legitimate) income stream, along with all the other trimmings that come with being a British Royal, they have rejected for petty reasons. In making themselves irrelevant, all they had left was to do an interview, a Netflix doco and a book where they essentially took a dump all over the very family that afforded them the power, influence and money they felt so entitled to. They only have themselves (and their PR teams) to blame for their current no man’s land of a situation. It doesn’t help that she is really boring. He was taken with her looks and charm, she is definitely very articulate too, but really just comes across as a climber and manipulator.
