“Love the content and thoroughness of the subjects covered. The hosts are fun and engaging, are well spoken and articulate. And they clearly are fascinated by the subjects they’re talking about, which makes it all the more interesting for the listener! I have really enjoyed hearing a biblical perspective to some of these mysteries I’ve heard about before, but never knew quite what to make of with a Christian worldview. Fascinating!
Now for some constructive criticism because I’m bingeing these episodes and a peeve is forming, lol: My biggest complaint is not the over-production*, it is the coughs and «ahems» while the other is telling a story. Bad!
(*Objectively, it IS a smidge over-produced. Not all terrible—in fact, most of what’s added does a good job of setting the vibe—but some of the sound effects are too fake and are more distracting than beneficial to the final product, IMO.)
But BRUH. BRUHTHREN. You have this super sound production to set the vibe, have this captivating story…and then one of you coughs and RIPS the listener right out of the setting. 🤦♀️ My GUYS—the vibe is in shambles. If you’re gonna have so much sound production, at least cut out the bodily noises while you’re telling a captivating story! 😂
Still giving 5 stars because it’s such a fascinating listen and well-researched podcast!”
