Emma Mae thank you
Emma I want to say thank you for following Gods call on your life to do what you do. I had grown up in the church and had always gone to Sunday school, Bible studies, youth group, and the whole nine yards. I still struggled with selfishness, anxiety, comparison, anger, and loneliness. I was around a family that loved God, yet I hadn’t ever developed my own personal relationship with him. It was my junior year of high school and my boyfriend was out of town and I just remember feeling so alone. So depressed and so sad. I remember just sobbing. Since my boyfriend was out of town (normally I would call him and he would talk with me through whatever was going on) I just remember opening your devotional. I don’t remeber what I read because it was a couple years ago but it sincerely touched my heart and was the start of a deep relationship with God. I watched each of your old YouTube videos and I just remeber one night watching one and just sobbing at what you were saying. It was so real and really really just touched my heart. From that point on, I have developed my own relationship with God. My anxiety has been replaced with peace and he has brought me so much joy. Praise God!! I just want to say thank you for staying faithful through the hard times, as I can imagine it’s not easy. I really respect and look forward to every podcast you share. Not because the messages are a deep revelation or a bold statement that rhymes. It is Gods word that you speak. Plain and simple. And God speaks through his word. That’s WHY I love your podcast and all that you post. It’s scripture based and you are just so genuine. You speak his truth. You don’t add in what so many speakers do now adays. You keep it to simple yet deeply powerful truths based on the word of God. You are genuine, funny, sweet, beautiful, caring and everything you talk about never fails to bring me insight into how to live as a Daughter of God and grow in love for him. Your podcast makes me both smile and brings me to tears. You have been such an aid in my walk with him and I want to say thank you. You said once on a podcast you and Josh read your reviews and so I thought it would be a good way for you to see how thankful I am. I have listened to this podcast since you started and I just love you guys. Josh is so funny and I love when he’s on because your laugh is so sweet and he always makes you laugh so hard and it’s so cute. I loved your talk about modesty and I especially loved your talk with your mom. She seems pretty great. Thank you Emma and I have tears writing this now. I have been meaning to write a review for a while now. From marriage to how to be kind, I can always love listening to what you say because I know it comes from a place of just loving Gods word and a deep love for him. I am so excited to see you be a mama. You will be great. I love you Emma, keep striving on. I will be praying for you and your family ❤️
