“My main issue is the host, Kara, who regularly forces her own opinions and interpretations on both the listener and her guests which are oftentimes very different to ways the show could be interpreted. One of the beauty’s of succession is the things that are left out, leaving the viewer to make their own mind up on a characters motives or true feelings. Kara often bulldozes her own opinion on a specific moment to the point where it makes it difficult for a guest to disagree with her. She didn’t write the show, she doesn’t know.
Secondly she absolutely loves a name drop and to talk about all the thousands of incredibly important people that she has personally dealt with previously. “Tech billionaires always do the downward dog in front of me to the point where I have to ask them to stop”. Do they really Kara?!???
It isn’t the Kara Swisher podcast it is the Succession podcast.
If you want a succession podcast to accompany your viewing there are much better ones out there.”
