Not True Crime
This is clearly a fictitious case and is portrayed as real. Pretty disappointed and all the audio is clearly scripted in the interviews. They even set up a fake website.

Is this fake? It sounds super fake. Which is fine. I like crime drama podcasts, I just prefer to know that’s what I’m listening to. This was advertised on Up and Vanished and made to sound like a real case. I’m basically 99.999% certain this is fake as hell.

Look, if you want to make a fictional crime story podcast, go for it...but don’t market it as true crime and think it won’t get ripped to shreds by anyone with access to google. I could be wrong, by this doesn’t sound like a ‘genuine’ investigation due to the quality of the audio and the tone in which the characters talk.
