Disinformation and a real disappointment.
I listen to a few different homesteading type podcasts and I usually start with the first episode and work my way to the present. I’ve heard a few of them say this is the guy to listen to if you want to learn about homesteading. Maybe that was the case a few years ago, but I can’t listen anymore to Joel and his guests go down conspiracy theory rabbit holes time after time. I listened to over 15 episodes giving him the benefit of a doubt, before I had to tap out. I wanted to hear about homesteading not political opinions or his religious beliefs which slowly become ingrained in almost every episode, and if it wasn’t from Joel, it was from a guest that he had on. I’m religious person and I also agree that the states do tend to have to much input on what people can and can’t do with their own land, but this podcast in general is a little much. This is why homesteading gets a bad reputation and people look at you like your nuts. Very disappointing.

I loved this podcast UNTIL you were asked to pay to listen to the entire show. A 4-5 minute tease doesn’t look good for the podcast. I’m a huge fan of Joel but I’ll pass on paying for this.
