“I have only heard the first episode and i had to stop and take a breather I am so emotional! :) You put things into words in a way I just cant, and its such a relief! I have been searching, researching and striving for this kind of work for at least ten years. I went into graduate school to grapple with these very intersections of trauma, social justice work, and resiliency. I live in a progressive town in a rural state. No one in my MSW program, nor in local social justice circles, seems to have heard of this type of work before, but when I explain what I want to do, their faces light up. I am almost ready to gain licensure, and want to be able to launch my practice this year. I am SO excited and humbled to finally find a pool of mentors and peers, to learn from and with.
