Edmonton family physician, Dr. Doug Woudstra, speaks on his desire to do more after having established a career in physical therapy. His desire took him abroad for a first-hand look at global health. After working as a volunteer in Gabon and South Africa, Doug returned to home to work in rural medicine in Alberta before settling in Edmonton. Having a broad breadth of experience, Doug discusses the special bond family physicians and patients build and the necessity to protect Alberta's health care legacy.
