“I use to love this show. I have been with it ever since their barstool days. All the different people that have come and left, stuck through it all. Yet as time has gone on, their laziness has become more and more apparent when it comes to the Pod versus the Pat McAfee show. The notes segment that they used to do with “phone, phone, phone, phone, phone, phone, phone, phone now tell me what’s inside your phone” used to kill me and showed the effort they put into making this show more fun and engaging. Sadly that has gone and now they just use the “Pod Fod” to fill air time. They went from 3 shows down to 2, promised that those 2 shows would be longer. Lie. Then they went down to 1 show a week and the lack of effort is still there, that 1 episode per week isnt incredibly longe either. This used to be a show that when it went out on the feed, I’d listen to it right away or wait for a time that I could
Give it my full attention. I’ve stopped listening for the last 8 weeks, before that all I ever did was get angry because I’ve seen what a magical show this could be yet they hope themselves back. Maybe I’ve changed along with my perspective and the show is what it always was, but it doesn’t feel like that.
To all the guys, Pat gave the lot of you an opportunity a lot of us would kill for, work for and with your friends. You used to show appreciation and a perspective that reflected that, but it seems you all have become fat cats who settle for the easy hunt.”
