Episode 210 - Hello Health Heroes! The public school systems were once a great idea but they have been hijacked by corporate and political interests. The schools teach stuff that's not proper for young children, the food they serve is toxic and many of the buildings are dilapidated and have air and water that are not clean. The solution to all of this is that the people who really care about children and their health and development can create their own schools to serve the public. I just read in our local newspaper that public school attendance in Oregon is continuing to drop. Why? Because parents are demanding a better learning environment for their kids. As this trend continues it opens up opportunities for those truly passionate about education to create their own schools that treat the child as a whole person, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
