“I am not a heavy gamer. I have never played an 18XX game. I often would not even try a majority of the games reviewed on this podcast. However, I am a gamer who enjoys some of the obscure genres of games and, as such, I think podcasts like this are important.
They give a voice to a minority in the hobby and they do it EXTREMELY well. Gamers who are open to the variety of experiences and opinions present in the hobby should listen to this podcast so that they can experience, albeit vicariously, a side of board games they may have never considered. And who knows I might be playing an 18XX game in a few years...”
