“Good quality MMA breakdowns are hard to come by, so when Connor and Phil get in to it, it’s great.
It’s really frustrating though - almost as much time is dedicated to berating cards, fighters or others involved in MMA as it is breaking down fight.
I wish the hosts would understand that if the listener is tuning in to listen to a podcast about a fight card... it’s probably because they want a breakdown of the fights on that card? If I think a card is rubbish, they probably won’t be listening.
Not every card can be Manchester United vs Liverpool. Sometimes you have West Ham vs Hull on a Tuesday night - but both have to happen to get the full outcome of the season. Just talk about the fights.”
