A national treasure
I’ve been a fan of Jonathan Goldstein’s work since this CBC Wiretap days. There’s something incredibly comforting and nourishing about the way Jonathan explores the lives around him. The stories are honest, raw, hilarious, enlightening, and I’m probably missing a ton of other adjectives. Nonetheless, a world without a jonathan goldstein podcast is a poorer world. I feel so much richer for listening.

This is the best new podcast out there today. Well worth your time if you are interested in narrative journalism/spoken audio in the tradition of This American Life.
