“Simon and Matt (the fact that I refer to them by their first names is a tribute to how familiar and relatable they manage to be) present dramatic, and often tragic or serious content with levity, warmth and wit. Their storytelling style, their jokes, the guests they bring on, all contribute to the listener feeling like they’re a part of the little gang in studio. That familiar, everyday best-buddies-telling-stories vibe is what sets the Heist Podcast apart from most other true crime podcasts. They also manage to engage with their listeners quite effectively, and this only serves to make the familial sentiment stronger. 5 stars, easily. 10/10. 100 percent. Strongly recommend.”
