Content - excellent; production - terrible!
I try to listen, because most of the guests are absolutely stellar! Loved Jon Meacham and David Axelrod in particular. Only downside is Heileman’s constant f-bombs. He could use some new words. What’s absolutely horrible is the production quality! Host is always loud; guests are medium; clips are so soft you have to adjust volume. There’s no sound person? Do they even listen to these before posting? Also, in the Meacham episode, an ad started in the middle of Meacham’s sentence. At the end of the ad, right back into the same sentence. About 10 seconds later “we have to take a break” and nothing played during the ad break! It’s like amateur hour. Worth it if you like the guest - definitely not if you don’t.
