Description
All cultures have a period of time after birth where the new mother is well-nourished, rested, and stays in, whilst she is supported by her community, to learn the new art of motherhood. Traditional Chinese Medicine calls this period "Zuo Yue Zi" (坐月子), or "month-long period of confinement."   In this episode, Sandi shares some of the traditional practices including the dietary practices to support your postpartum period.    Sandi Ross has a Master of Traditional Chinese medicine and is a dual-qualified naturopath and acupuncturist working with women and children for over 13 years.    Website: www.sandirosshealth.com IG: Her_Earth_Medicine
