Description
This week on the podcast we talk all things creative problem solving with Sophie.  Soph lives rurally with her husband Ross, and son Dougal. Sophie is an incredibly busy women, juggling being a mum and wife while running a sheep farm with Ross and her fruit shop in town. Soph takes us through the journey of her pregnancy with Dougal, her surprise covid birth and then the process of navigating secondary infertility from a rural setting. Soph tells her story with so much humour, honesty and grace. She identifies key issues of going over the ‘border’ for treatment and the lack of choice and options for women living rurally.  Sophie talks us through listening to your gut when you feel like your treatment no longer is working for you, and the importance of asking for help. Both Anna and I cried and laughed interchangeably. Thank you to Sophie and Ross for sharing your incredible journey.  Sophie & Ross journey is ongoing, and we wish them all the very best.
