Description
HOLD ONTO YOUR HATS - THIS ONE IS A BIG ONE!!   Associate Professor Sarah Verdon is a powerhouse.   I can say this because; 1. It’s true and 2. Full disclosure she is my cousin.    I personally lived small parts of Sez story, I have cried and laughed with her. She is my text in the middle of the night to winge about pregnancy – she always has my back on a hard pregnancy winge.   Sarah has 3 beautiful blessings. From four challenging pregnancies. A fierce defender of the public health space, and an allied health clinician in a rural setting herself, Sarah not only has lived experience but is passionate about health literacy but also access.  Sarah articulates so well the difficulties advocating for yourself with medical professionals even if you speak/understand their language.    Taking us through her pregnancy, birth and miscarriage journey. Sarah particularly focuses in on her postpartum journey and miscarriage.    As an allied health professional, I myself understand sometimes it is difficult to humanise ourselves, so I personally want to thank Sarah for telling her story, with honesty and vulnerability.
