Authentic, Positive, Empowering
This podcast couldn’t be more pertinent to today’s issues regarding good health and empowerment but also highlights the rounded thinking and philosophy of herbalism as an ecosystem. As a society we can and should take responsibility for our health and well-being, but also be mindful and responsible about the impacts those decisions have on other people, the natural world and ultimately the planet. Health is not achieved by reductive, disconnected or simplistic attitudes or actions but by embracing the body’s complexities and nuances. Herbalists understand this and work with the body. So often in our conventional, western way, we work against it. Herbalism is a force for good and it’s such a shame that it is marginalised in our society. This podcast clearly demonstrates that it is a very positive, powerful tool and can be part of the solution. I wholeheartedly recommend this podcast for anyone who is curious, open-minded and seeking to educate themselves regarding good health in a holistic, accessible but also sustainable way.

The guests and stories in this series have so far been excellent. Informative and accessible, these podcasts are the first time I have heard a herbal podcast bring such depth to the topic.
