“This show captures so much of what makes middle school pivotal - and painful! The writing and acting for Noah’s character is so spot on that it’s almost unbearable at times (in a good way)!
My only criticism is that the actor who plays Seb (while very compelling and lovable in his performance) sounds much older than the other kids, and (as a former middle school teacher) I don’t know a single middle school boy who is that emotionally evolved. He was a bit too poised to be believable, which I found distracting at times.
It goes much darker than you might expect, and I love the ambiguity throughout; it keeps your mind and heart engaged!”
