“I have taught eighth grade for twenty-eight years. The characters in this podcast feel very realistic, and the story is entertaining. But oh my gosh- most of the teachers are such buffoons. This kind of trope harms an already much maligned profession. I really think the creators can do better. I know it’s all about the kids’ experience, but are most kids really, in 2022, being taught predominantly by stupid, insensitive bigots?”
