An embarasment to actual feminists
This used to be miles away my favorite recap of the bachelor, it was detailed, funny and had insightful perspectives. Now this has become my least favorite show and I had to unsubscribe. The hosts aren’t feminists, they are elitists who judge anyone that doesn’t have the same perspectives. They constantly are “triggered” by things on the show, a lot of which are absolutely outrageous. I watch the bachelor as a fun escape and for entertainment, not to see how many things I can pretend I’m offended by . It’s crazy how far this podcast fallen and it’s very much reflected in their recent reviews. I am a gay male and the stuff they come up with as “offensive” to homosexuals is so over the top and honestly just not offensive. In this last episode they were complaining Hannah Anne’s dad said he prayed for her husband when she was born and they were trying to call attention to the fact he was praying for a heterosexual relationship. Is it strange he prayed for his newborn’s husband? Yes. Is it inappropriate he assumed that 23 years ago his daughter was going to end up in a straight relationship? No, most parents pictured their children in heterosexual relationships because it for the most part was all they were exposed to. Something I had to overcome with my own family. Another example is Madison’s dad works under Bruce Pearl at Auburn and they had him featured in her hometown episode. The hosts were complaining they didn’t have the woman’s coach just the men’s coach. Which is plain ridiculous because her family has no ties to the woman’s basketball program nor has it been a part of her storyline. They just look for any excuse to “prove” they’re feminists. The world isn’t going to change by looking for things to complain about, we change the world by proving society’s stereotypes wrong.

I feel like you could record ANY two sorority girls talking about the bachelorette and get this exact show. Zero insight or analysis and peppered with "omg" reactions. Weak. For the record, I know not all sorority girls fit the stereotype but this show does.Read full review »
