“I think they gave Gary such a bad rap on this episode. This is what the bachelor has been. People breaking hearts! So Gary chose someone who could relate to his losing his wife? What’s wrong with that? I’m older. I would probably at my age, choose the safe bet too and someone who has a similar history as me. Very different then younger people perhaps, but you were way too hard on him. He managed the situation, was as honest he could be under pretty stressful, perhaps artificial situation, IMO.”
