In the early morning of Tuesday, March 26, the Francis Scott Key Bridge on the Patapsco River in Baltimore, MD collapsed following an impact from a container ship. As of this writing, several individuals are missing and may be deceased. The tragic accident will also result in major logistical and economic disruptions. But there’s more reason to be concerned about critical infrastructure failures of this kind. Is our government really keeping its priorities in order to prevent such disasters?
