“The pandemic is winning; we are not. This is evident in only half of our population being fully vaccinated - amidst an already-broken healthcare landscape, an aging populace, CRE and SHC getting crushed, and those who are unvaccinated now placing those who are vaccinated, at risk (and themselves).
Is it worth losing more people in 2022 than in 2021, which was greater than life-loss to C19 in 2020??? At what point should federal leadership say enough is enough and it’s time to protect our country, it’s people, close our borders in the interim, and get things under control from the threat of this insidious, unremitting, constantly-mutating pestilence?.
In a public health crisis such as this we need greater protection measures, coming from the top- and the leadership, is lacking.”
