“These type of shows are the problem we’re all in this mess of division. It’s just another echo chamber, in this case allowing conservatives to cycle through the same talking points over and over. In one episode, they discussed how the “liberal indoctrination in our schools” is why the riots happened and why statues have been torn down, because liberals “hate our country”. None of this is accurate. Does our education system lean left? 100%. Does it teach us to hate our country? Come on now. The riots were a spilling over of tensions after another senseless black man died at the hands of a police officer. Which is a part of the much longer building up of tension due to the systematic oppression of African Americans for centuries, starting with slavery and followed by Jim Crow laws which is followed by redlining and then the mass incarceration of African Americans. But acknowledging these FACTS result in conservatives dismissing it as “liberal indoctrination” in our schools. Shame.”
