In this episode, Caroline Twohig, Virgin Media news anchor, speaks candidly and bravely about overcoming postnatal depression after the birth of her first baby and about the anxiety and panic attacks that she has dealt with throughout her career in front of the camera.  Caroline Twohig has been a news anchor and reporter for the last 15 years working on various national television and radio shows. She’s currently the anchor of Virgin Media’s ‘News at 7’ and has previously delivered morning news on Ireland AM as well as the ‘News at 5.30’. She trained with CNN in Atlanta and has anchored many special news broadcasts over the years,  When not delivering breaking news to the nation, she is wife and mother of two young children, having just given birth to her second baby 2 months before recording this episode. Explaining how she felt stigma, deep shame and loneliness around her experiences with postnatal depression, Caroline is intent on supporting others to not feel alone when faced with similar emotions.
