Welcome to the latest edition of the HECAOD podcast! Today’s episode is once again hosted by Ahmed Hosni, Program Coordinator for the Collegiate Recovery Community at The Ohio State University. Ahmed’s guest is Keith Murphy, who is a Recovery Counselor with the Alcohol and Other Drug Assistance Program. Ahmed received a B.S. in Community, Family, and Addiction Services from Texas Tech University in 2013 and is responsible for on campus outreach and engagement, providing direct student support. Murphy “oversees the Rutgers Recovery House and the recovery communities at Rutgers New Brunswick and Rutgers Newark.  He has devoted his career to the field of addiction and recovery. Prior to being at Rutgers, Keith worked at the Market Street Mission in Morristown, NJ as the Assistant Program Director for over 14 years.  As the Assistant Program Director he helped oversee the Market Street Mission’s Life Change Program and Work Therapy Program.” Please join Mr. Hosni and Mr. Murphy as they discuss diversity within the collegiate recovery community.
