A great podcast for motorcycle weirdos
I purchased my first bike in 2009 a Honda CB400, and was hit head on by a drunk driver that September. This was in Oklahoma, so the driver didn’t have insurance and I was on the hook for all my medical and vehicle costs. After recovering I wasn’t in a place to purchase another bike and by the time I was, my first daughter was born. My wife and I subsequently decided that motorcycles should wait until later so the unthinkable didn’t happen. In 2023 we finally agreed that a dual sport to ride the back roads to work was an ok option for me. I had completely stayed away from motorcycling so I wasn’t tempted by the forbidden fruit. This left me feeling like an outsider and like I didn’t really belong. I had no friends or family that rode and I hadn’t even looked at a bike in over 10 years. I was a bit nervous and didn’t know where to turn for knowledge and guidance. Then I found Highside / Lowside! You guys are exactly the type of motorcyclists that I would love to hang out with and learn from. I’m not into group riding or biker gangs and I fill like a poser around most bikers. You guys have helped me feel like I belong and that there is a place for me in the community. Thanks for everything you guys are doing and keep it up.

Always loved the high side low side moto banter, spiced up for this season with addition of Zack and Ari. More shows every season would be great!
